About the SP-331

The Vincent SP-331 is a hybrid stereo power amplifier combining vacuum tube and solid-state technology. It delivers 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms in stereo mode, operating in pure Class A mode for the first 10 watts and Class AB thereafter. The amplifier uses 2 x 6N16 tubes in the input stage and a solid-state output stage with multiple power transistors. It features a frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz, total harmonic distortion under 0.1%, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 90-95 dB. The SP-331 has a robust build with a heavily damped chassis and extruded aluminum heat sinks for thermal management. It includes two pairs of speaker binding posts for connecting two speaker pairs, selectable via a front-panel switch. The amplifier is available in black or silver finish and weighs approximately 22 kg (48.5 lbs). Dimensions are about 430 x 195 x 400 mm. It is praised for its midrange richness, resolution, and ability to drive demanding loudspeakers effectively.
