The Vienna Acoustics Oratorio is a high-end 3-way center channel speaker in a bass-reflex cabinet, designed for home theater systems. It delivers extended bass response with dual 9-inch carbon-fiber-filled, air-dried paper-cone woofers, smooth and open midrange via a 7-inch carbon-fiber-filled, air-dried paper-cone midrange driver, and sweet highs from a 1-inch hand-coated, silicone-layered silk-dome tweeter with 3 neodymium magnets. It reproduces voices with great detail and smoothness, and includes contour switches to match non-Vienna Acoustics front speakers. Praised for low frequency extension, detailed midrange, first-rate fit and finish, and performance matching or exceeding higher-priced competitors. This model is no longer manufactured or available new.
