About the Wavewood Panels
These panels are part of Vicoustic's flagship line, known for their unique design that combines absorption and diffusion. They are ideal for treating mid to high frequencies, making them suitable for recording studios, home theaters, and music venues. The Wavewood panels use a modified Maximum Length Sequence (MLS) diffuser design, which includes slats of reflective material and absorptive material to create a pseudo-random binary pattern. This pattern optimizes the absorption curve, providing maximum absorption between 400 Hz and 1 kHz, and a combination of absorption and diffusion at higher frequencies.
