The Vicoustic Multifuser DC2 is a bi-dimensional diffusion panel made from high-quality EPS (Expanded Polystyrene). It is designed to enhance sound clarity and definition by providing multi-reflection on both vertical and horizontal planes, making it ideal for use in home theaters, recording studios, and other sound-critical environments. The panel features a geometric grid array of posts and wells, which are arranged according to a 'primitive root' numeric sequence to maximize diffusion across a wide range of audio frequencies. While its primary function is diffusion, it also offers a modest degree of absorption, particularly effective in the medium frequency range. The Multifuser DC2 is available in various finishes and can be installed using the VicFix J Profile fixation system with VicFix Base, sold separately.
