About the Flavor 4

The VH Audio Flavor 4 power cable is designed for high current amplifiers and digital transports or CD players. It features FOUR 12 AWG low strand count bare copper conductors resulting in an effective 9 AWG for both 'hot' and 'neutral' wires, and a 10 AWG low strand count bare copper ground wire. All conductors and connectors undergo deep cryogenic treatment. The cable uses FEP insulation and a star quad geometry with tight lay length to provide excellent RFI/EMI rejection and reduced inductance. No shielding is used to maintain unrestricted macro and micro dynamics, with the star quad geometry concentrating current towards the center to shield from external interference and reduce radiation. VH Audio's "Spaced Counter-spiraled Ground" geometry helps reduce sonic effects of the safety ground. Wire termination points are treated with "TPC - The Perfect Connection" contact enhancer before termination. Connectors include Furutech FI-11, FI-25, U.K., and Schuko series. Developed by Chris VenHaus after extensive listening tests, this cable is manufactured to VH Audio's specifications in the USA and is only available through VH Audio. It is highly regarded for improving bass definition, texture, airiness in vocals, and overall musicality without degrading sound quality.
