The Vessel A3SE is a Moving Magnet phono cartridge known for its beautifully-made super elliptical diamond stylus and upgraded materials, handcrafted in Japan. It offers a frequency response from 20 Hz to 25,000 Hz and an output voltage of 3.0 mV at 1 kHz. The cartridge features a special aluminum pipe cantilever and a stylus tip radius of 7.6µm × 15.5µm. It has a tracking force of 2.0 g and dynamic compliance of 8 × 10^-6 cm/dyne at 100 Hz, with channel balance under 1.5 dB and channel separation of 22 dB at 1 kHz. The internal impedance is 670 ohms with an inductance of approximately 270-285 mH. Recommended load resistance is 47 kOhm and capacitance between 100-300 pF. The cartridge weighs 6.0 g and comes in a black body with gold and sky blue stylus colors. Mounting hardware includes screws and nuts, and the stylus is user-replaceable with the A3SE stylus. It is praised for natural tonal balance, rich harmonics, and spatial resolution, conveying emotional content from vinyl grooves. The cartridge is warranted for one year when purchased from authorized dealers in the USA.
