About the Otello

The Verity Audio Otello is a luxury floor-standing loudspeaker designed with a dual isolated chassis system to eliminate resonance between the high/midrange and low driver cabinets. It features a proprietary 1-inch neo ring dome tweeter offering excellent linearity and smooth decay up to 50 kHz, a 5-inch mineral-filled polypropylene midrange cone optimized for accuracy and dynamic range, and two 7-inch edge-coated reed/paper pulp cone woofers with Bessel tuning and a rear-firing bass reflex design to enrich bass articulation and room reinforcement. The cabinets are finished with Italian polyester lacquer and incorporate asymmetrical internal bracing for reduced internal resonance and smooth airflow. Otello offers a smooth impedance curve, high efficiency (93 dB sensitivity), and nominal 8-ohm impedance, making it compatible with a wide range of amplifiers including single-ended triode designs. It handles up to 100 watts of musical power and is suitable for moderate to large listening rooms, delivering remarkable intelligibility, dynamic range, and musicality. Dimensions are approximately 43.6" H x 10.9" W x 18.6" D, weighing 75 lbs each. Available finishes include high-gloss black, white, and Makore wood (special order colors and veneers available).
