About the DD-12+

The Velodyne DD-12+ is a sealed, forward-firing 12-inch subwoofer from the Digital Drive Plus series, designed for high-end music and home cinema systems. Powered by a 1250W RMS / 3000W dynamic Class D amplifier, it delivers deep bass extension down to approximately 17Hz (-3dB) with very low distortion. Advanced onboard DSP provides comprehensive bass management including high-pass filters for satellites (80 or 100Hz), a continuously adjustable low-pass crossover (roughly 40-199Hz), variable slope, phase adjustment (0-180° in 15° increments), and polarity control, accessible via on-screen display and remote. The DD-12+ incorporates Auto-EQ Plus room correction using a supplied calibrated microphone, and allows detailed manual EQ via computer connection. Connectivity includes LFE and stereo line-level inputs (RCA and balanced XLR), speaker-level inputs, and line-level outputs for flexible system integration. Available in black gloss ebony, satin cherry, and walnut finishes.
