About the Thames Hybrid

The van den Hul Thames Hybrid is a twin line (figure-of-8) coaxial phono cable specially designed for optimal signal transfer between high-end turntables and pre-amplifiers. It features very low parasitic capacitance to minimize cartridge loading, hybrid conductors made of high purity dense silver-coated oxygen-free copper (OFC) enhanced with Linear Structured Carbon (LSC) saturated layers for superior low-level signal resolution, high flexibility, a durable HULLIFLEX halogen-free jacket, and a center steel wire for mechanical reinforcement that can serve as an extra ground lead. Terminated with high-quality van den Hul gold-plated RCA male connectors on both ends, it is available in standard lengths of 1.0m, 1.2m, and 1.5m, with custom lengths on request. It delivers dramatic improvements in sound quality, resolution, and imaging compared to stock turntable cables.
