About the Flexicon B4

The Van den Hul Flexicon B4 is a high-quality, slim-diameter balanced interconnect cable developed in 1990 for a large South African recording studio. It features two multistrand silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC) cores (AWG #24, 12 x 0.15 mm each, colored red and black), providing superior transmission quality, very low conductor-to-conductor capacitance, high shielding factor, exceptional flexibility, and durability. Insulated with polypropylene for low capacitance and high flexibility, it includes double shielding: a dense helix of 48 x 0.12 mm strands over reinforced aluminum foil. The white Hulliflex® jacket ensures long life without aging. Perfect for internal balanced signal wiring in (pre)amplifiers and mixing consoles, or as a general-purpose audio and car Hi-Fi interlink. Available terminated (e.g., RCA, mini-jack) or by the meter.
