The Van den Hul CS-122 HYBRID is a twin-lead loudspeaker cable designed for high-quality audio performance at an affordable price. It consists of two conductors, each made from 147 strands of 0.16 mm diameter high-purity Matched Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) with a dense pure silver coating, providing a cross-section of 2.96 mm² per conductor (AWG 12.5 equivalent). The conductors are surrounded by a Linear Structured Carbon saturated layer for improved signal transmission and anti-aging properties. The cable features a Hulliflex 3 jacket, which is flexible, mechanically robust, and halogen-free. It delivers a detailed, warm sound image with powerful bass, excellent dynamics, and subtlety, making it suitable for mid-priced to high-end setups and longer cable runs. Resistance is low at 0.58 Ohm per 100 meters, with capacitance of 32 pF per meter between leads. Compatible connectors include Van den Hul's 4.0 mm Ø Bus type Universal Speaker Connectors and DIY Screw-On Speaker Connectors. It has received multiple awards, including What Hi-Fi?
