About the Crossfade LP

The V-Moda Crossfade LP headphones feature proprietary 50mm dual-diaphragm high-definition drivers designed to deliver deep, vibrant bass, organic mid-range, and crystal clear highs without the need for batteries or digital processing. They have a warm, bass-heavy sound signature that is particularly suited for bass-oriented music genres like techno, funk, rap, and EDM, but less ideal for rock, metal, or guitar-focused music. Constructed with metal and Kevlar materials, these headphones are built for durability and longevity, with a steel headband and Kevlar-reinforced cables. The ear cushions and headband use memory foam for comfort and passive noise isolation. The headphones come with a hard exoskeleton carrying case, multiple cables including a Kevlar-reinforced mic cable, a 1/4" adapter, and a cleaning cloth. Despite their robust build and stylish design, the Crossfade LPs are noted for a somewhat muddy and recessed midrange with overpowering bass, making them less balanced than newer V-Moda models like the LP2 or M-100. They are no longer manufactured but remain popular for their ruggedness and distinctive sound.
