The Usher Audio BE-718, also known as the 'Tiny Dancer,' is a high-end bookshelf loudspeaker from Usher's acclaimed Dancer Series. It features a 1.25-inch beryllium-oxide ceramic dome tweeter paired with a 7-inch doped-paper cone woofer, delivering a frequency response of 42 Hz to 35 kHz with ±3 dB variation. The speaker has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, sensitivity of 87 dB/W/m, and can handle up to 200 watts of power. Its crossover frequency is set at 2.06 kHz. The cabinet is constructed from 25mm MDF with real wood side panels (available in Silver or Piano Black with Pioneer Birch), internally braced and lined with lead in U.S. models for acoustic damping. The enclosure is reflex-loaded with a forward-firing slot port for easier room placement. Dimensions are 15.2" H x 10.2" W x 16.9" D, and each speaker weighs approximately 37.9 lbs (17.2 kg). The BE-718 supports bi-wiring and comes with protective grilles. It is praised for its clarity, tonal accuracy, spacious soundstage, and surprising bass extension for its size.
