About the Reference Pre

The Unison Research Reference PRE is a high-end valve stereo preamplifier featuring a 300B line stage and a separate valve phono section. It provides four RCA line inputs, two XLR inputs, two independent phono inputs with selectable resistance and capacitance loading, and a tape input. The phono stage offers 45–55 dB of gain and uses four 6C45P and two ECC83 valves; the line stage uses two 300B, two ECC82, two ECC83, and two 6C45P valves.
