The Ultrasone Edition 5 Unlimited is a premium closed-back headphone handcrafted in Germany, designed as a more affordable alternative to the original limited Edition 5. It features titanium-plated 40mm dynamic drivers with a frequency response from 5 to 46,000 Hz and an impedance of 32 Ohms. The headphones utilize Ultrasone's patented S-Logic EX technology, which creates a natural and spacious listening environment by positioning the drivers peripherally in a funnel shape. The design includes a closed-back construction that delivers precise bass and transparent mids and highs. The ear cups are coated with a ruthenium finish, and the headband and ear pads use Ethiopian long-haired sheep leather for comfort and isolation. The headphones come with three detachable cables, including one with a microphone and remote, and a high-quality transportation bag. They weigh 280 grams excluding cables and incorporate ULE (Ultra Low Emission) technology with MU metal shielding to reduce magnetic emissions near the head.
