The TW Acustic Raven 10.5 tonearm is a straight, pivoted-type arm constructed predominantly from a special black-anodised aluminium alloy to ensure stiffness and torsional strength. It features ultra-precise dual pivot bearings adjusted to eliminate stiction, resulting in minimal interference during playback. The effective length is 267 mm (10.5 inches) with a mounting distance of 251.2 mm and an overhang of 15.8 mm, following Löfgren B geometry. The effective mass is approximately 14 grams, allowing compatibility with most MC and MM cartridges with operating weights between 5g and 20g, aided by three polished stainless steel counterweights included. The tonearm includes a zero-float VTA adjuster derived from the flagship Raven Black Night turntable, allowing 10 mm of height adjustment on the fly. The headshell is fixed but allows azimuth adjustment for precise cartridge alignment. An integral one-piece sonically optimized copper tonearm cable runs from cartridge tags to phono plugs, ensuring pure, interference-free signal transmission. The arm mounts via a 4-hole flange, making it compatible with various turntables.
