About the TAD-60

The Tube Audio Design TAD-60 is a high-quality, audiophile-grade stereo tube power amplifier built with a robust stainless steel chassis and a thick black anodized faceplate, including a lift-off stainless steel tube cage. It offers top-mounted controls for easy access to tube bias test-points and adjustment pots, along with a included digital voltmeter. EL34-based design provides 60 watts per channel in ultralinear (UL) mode and 30 watts per channel in switchable triode mode. Additional features include adjustable input sensitivity (usable as a volume control for single-source setups) and adjustable global feedback for flexibility with various preamps and speakers. Originally There are two production versions. Praised for its tank-like build, elegant appearance, and musical synergy, especially with TAD-150 preamp. Appears to be no longer manufactured.
