About the Discrete USB
The Triode Wire Labs Discrete USB Cable is a meticulously engineered digital audio cable crafted in the USA. It features pure copper conductors precisely wound to achieve a 90 ohms characteristic impedance, essential for optimal digital signal transmission. The cable incorporates a proprietary 3-pole power filter at the USB 'A' end, proprietary shielding, and in-house hand-wound inductors to minimize noise and interference. Conductors and connectors undergo deep immersion cryogenic treatment to ensure grain-free, accurate, and natural sound. The cable uses high-quality Amphenol USB connectors and a unique organic cotton outer dielectric jacket for flexibility and durability. It is designed to reduce noise associated with digital gear and produce a natural, organic, balanced analog-like reproduction with perfect PRAT (pace, rhythm, and timing).
