The Amplitude 16 by Trinnov Audio is a versatile and powerful 16-channel Class D power amplifier engineered specifically for immersive home theater systems. It features dual custom power supplies and advanced thermal dissipation to optimize performance and reliability. Each channel delivers 200 watts into 8 ohms and 400 watts into 4 ohms, with the option to bridge pairs of channels to achieve up to 800 watts at 8 ohms and over 1,000 watts at 4 ohms, ideal for demanding front channels. The amplifier uses balanced analog inputs via two DB25 connectors with Tascam pinout, simplifying connectivity by eliminating the need for 16 individual XLR inputs. The unit is housed in a 3RU rack-mount chassis with 16 speaker binding posts and includes channel status LEDs and a 12V trigger input/output. It is designed in collaboration with ICEpower and requires two separate 15A AC mains power inlets.
