About the Spirit Mk.3
The Transfiguration Spirit Mk.3 is a low-output moving-coil phono cartridge designed by Seiji Yoshioka. It uses a yokeless dual-ring magnet system, a 0.3 mm solid-boron cantilever, and a PA solid-diamond stylus measuring 3 × 30 µm. Its resonance-controlled, milled-aluminum body incorporates integral threaded mounting holes. The Spirit Mk.3 is noted for focused imaging, precise spatial organization, clarity, dynamic authority, and strong tracking performance at its recommended 2.0 g tracking force, with a neutral and transparent tonal balance.
