About the Audio Salvation TT w/T3 Pro
The Trans-Fi Audio Salvation turntable features a unique rim drive system with a solid aluminum platter weighing 9kg and measuring an unusually large 14 inches in diameter. It uses a DC power supply with a no-feedback motor controller and a magnetic platter bearing with magnetic levitation suspension for minimal friction and vibration. The plinth is made of solid 45mm thick slate, and the turntable includes the Reso-Mat platter mat that lifts the record approximately 12mm above the platter on small pegs, eliminating the need for a record clamp. The Salvation is often paired with the T3 Pro air-bearing tonearm, which is highly sensitive and requires precise setup, including dynamic balancing and air supply adjustments. The tonearm features a carbon fiber wand, brass counterweights, and direct wire leads from cartridge to phono amp, offering excellent channel separation and sound staging. This combination is praised for its natural tonal warmth, timbral discrimination, and dynamic range, making it suitable for a wide range of music genres. The Salvation with the T3 Pro tonearm is considered a landmark product in analog audio, with only about 50 units made, most fitted with the Terminator or T3 Pro air-bearing arms. The price range is approximately to .
