The Totem Acoustic Model 1 Signature is a compact, high-quality two-way loudspeaker designed for audiophiles seeking detailed imaging and balanced sound. It features a 6.5" proprietary mid/woofer with a cellulose-acrylate cone, 3" voice coil, cast-aluminum frame, and neodymium magnet, paired with a 1" SEAS aluminum-titanium alloy dome tweeter with a rear chamber to reduce resonances. The crossover is a second-order design at approximately 2.5-2.7 kHz, using premium components such as air-core inductors, Dale, RCD, Archromic resistors, Cornell-Dubilier Orange Drop film capacitors, and ClarityCap paper-in-oil capacitors. The cabinet is made of 3/4" MDF with lock-miter joints and multi-layer borosilicate damping for reduced resonance. It is bi-wireable via twin pairs of WBT gold-plated binding posts.
