About the D1-Streamer MK2
The Totaldac D1-Streamer MK2 is a digital streamer designed to deliver high-fidelity audio streaming with advanced reclocking and multiple digital input options. It supports asynchronous 192kHz USB (Xmos), coaxial RCA, AES-EBU, and optical inputs, selectable via remote control. It handles PCM formats from 44.1kHz up to 192kHz at 16 to 24 bits, and supports DSD (DoP standard) on coax, AES-EBU, and USB inputs. The streamer features an embedded custom clock with anti-jitter FIFO memory to minimize jitter and improve sound quality. It includes digital outputs (AES-EBU and SPDIF RCA or BNC) for connection to DACs, with only one output used at a time. The unit is housed in an aluminum and PMMA enclosure with a massive pure copper antivibration plate and uses an external power supply to reduce noise. It is compatible with RoonReady (RAAT certified), Jplay, Audirvana, UPnP/DLNA/openhome apps, Airplay, Squeezelite, and supports streaming services like Qobuz, Tidal, and Spotify via these platforms. The device includes volume control and display functions controlled by remote, with options to switch off the display and activate a non-oversampling DAC compensation filter. Dimensions are approximately 110mm height, 360mm width, and 290mm depth, with a weight of 4kg for the streamer and 7kg for the power supply. Options include a silver massive aluminum front panel, 115V power supply, and BNC coaxial digital input instead of RCA.
