About the D1-Digital Reclocker 2
The TotalDAC D1-Digital Reclocker MK 2 is an advanced digital reclocker that significantly reduces jitter to enhance the sound quality of digital-to-analog converters. It supports 24-bit/192kHz resolution via asynchronous XMOS USB input and other inputs including S/PDIF coaxial RCA, AES/EBU XLR, and Toslink optical (up to 96kHz). DSD (DoP standard) is supported on USB, S/PDIF, and AES/EBU inputs. The reclocker features a revised FPGA architecture and a custom RF shield to minimize jitter further. It includes S/PDIF RCA and AES/EBU XLR digital outputs, with options for BNC coaxial input and an additional AES/EBU output. The unit is controlled via a full-function remote and housed in a distinctive truncated pyramid chassis with a black acrylic fascia, optionally replaceable with a natural aluminum panel. An upgraded external 'live-power' power supply with a custom toroidal transformer is included to reduce noise. The D1-Digital Reclocker MK 2 is designed to work with TotalDAC's DACs and other digital sources, allowing longer cable runs by converting USB to AES/EBU digital output.
