About the DX7 Pro

The Topping DX7 Pro is a combined USB balanced DAC and headphone amplifier designed for audiophiles and professional users. It features the ESS Technology flagship ES9038Pro DAC chip supporting PCM up to 32Bit/768kHz and native DSD1024 decoding via I2S input. The device includes Bluetooth 5.0 with support for LDAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, AAC, and SBC codecs. It offers three headphone outputs: 6.35mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, and 4-pin XLR balanced, with powerful output levels (up to 1700mW at 32Ω balanced). The DX7 Pro has multiple digital inputs including USB, optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, and I2S HDMI, plus RCA and XLR line outputs that can be fixed or variable for use as a preamp. It features an OLED display, volume knob with multifunction control, and remembers separate volume settings for headphone and line outputs. Internally, it uses a proprietary toroidal transformer power supply and audio-grade Nichicon capacitors. The headphone amplifier section uses fully balanced LME47920 dual op-amps, which are socketed for user upgrades. The device supports high-resolution audio streaming and offers very low distortion and noise, making it suitable for demanding headphones and professional applications.
