About the Yatrus

The Thrax Audio Yatrus is a high-end direct-drive turntable designed as an integrated, maintenance-free analog source. It uses a vibration-free brushless DC motor with an integrated bearing, electronically controlled speed stability, a multilayer damped platter, and an ultra low-resonance adjustable suspension system. The turntable is built in anodized aluminum with constrained-layer damping and supports common playback speeds of 33, 45, and 78 rpm. It is designed for use with a single 9-inch tonearm or shorter. A review source lists the Yatrus at $15,500 and notes that a Schroder arm was an optional extra in the reviewed setup.
