About the 12

The Thomas Schick 12 is a 12-inch tonearm with a 317.5 mm effective length and 304.75 mm pivot-to-spindle distance. Its Baerwald alignment uses null points at 66 mm and 120.9 mm, with a 17.11° offset angle and approximately 12.82 mm of overhang. Hand-machined in Germany, it is designed for low-compliance cartridges, including SPU types, and supports cartridges with compliance below 20 µm/mN. The tonearm is available with a removable headshell, tonearm lift, antiskating, and either a DIN connector or a 1.1 m captive low-capacitance cable with Neutrik RCA plugs. Finish and headshell options vary by configuration.
