The Thiel CS7.2 is a high-performance four-way floorstanding loudspeaker featuring a reflex-loaded design. It includes a 1-inch dome tweeter coaxially mounted in a 3-inch cone midrange, a 6.5-inch lower-midrange cone, a 12-inch cone woofer, and a 12-inch passive radiator. The crossover frequencies are set at 200Hz, 1kHz, and 3kHz with acoustic first-order slopes. It delivers a frequency response of 25Hz to 17kHz within ±1.5dB and maintains phase response within ±10 degrees. The nominal impedance is 4 ohms (minimum 3 ohms), with a recommended amplifier power of 100 to 500 watts. The cabinet is constructed with a composite baffle designed to reduce diffraction and improve coherence. Dimensions are 55 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 19 inches deep, weighing 168 pounds each. The CS7.2 is available in walnut, black ash, white oak, natural cherry, and black laminate finishes, with other finishes available at extra cost.
