About the SE845

The THÖRESS SE-845 is the flagship all-tube mono power amplifier from Thöress, built around the 845 filamentary power triode in pure single-ended Class-A operation. It uses a powerful single-stage driver with EL822/CV2382 pentodes in triode mode, custom in-house C-core output transformers, and a zero-global-feedback topology designed for high linearity, low distortion, and a richly textured presentation. It is handmade in Germany with point-to-point wiring and sold as a pair of monoblocks.
