The Technics SP-15 is renowned for its exceptional stability and precision in playback. It offers quartz synthesizer pitch control, allowing for fine adjustments in 0.1% increments up to ±9.9% of the standard speeds (33 1/3, 45, and 78.26 RPM). This feature is particularly useful for matching record pitch to musical instruments or adjusting playback times for broadcasting. The turntable boasts a heavy-duty construction, high torque for fast starts, and a pulsed power supply to prevent hum induction. It also includes a special lock mechanism to prevent accidental misoperation during playback.
