The Technical Audio Devices Laboratories TAD-GE1-WN (Grand Evolution One) is a high-end floor-standing loudspeaker introduced as part of TAD’s Evolution Series. It uses the company’s CST (Coherent Source Transducer) coaxial driver with a magnesium midrange cone and beryllium tweeter diaphragm for point-source imaging, paired with two 18 cm woofers for bass. TAD positions the GE1 as borrowing technology and design philosophy from its Reference TX Series, including its SILENT enclosure and downward-firing bass-reflex loading.
