About the (TAD) TAD-D700

The TAD-D700 is Technical Audio Devices Laboratories’ Reference Series flagship SACD/CD player, launched as the successor to the TAD-D600. It is designed as both a high-end disc player and a stand-alone DAC, using TAD’s Ultra-High C/N Master Clock Circuit and third-generation Ultra-High-Precision Crystal Generator (UPCG) to improve timing accuracy and reduce noise. It features a separate outboard power supply, simplified analog circuitry, and support for playback of SACD, CD, CD-R, and CD-RW. The D700 can also process external digital inputs up to 192 kHz/24-bit and is intended for reference-level two-channel systems.
