About the DS-H01

The TEAC DS-H01 is a digital docking station designed for Apple iOS devices with a 30-pin connector, including iPod, iPhone, and iPad. It bypasses the internal DAC of the portable device by using its own high-performance Burr Brown PCM1796 24-bit/192kHz DAC, delivering richer and more detailed sound. The unit provides analog stereo RCA outputs, coaxial and optical digital outputs, and a USB port for syncing with a computer. It also includes video output for connecting to a monitor. The DS-H01 supports digital audio throughput with zero signal degradation, making it an excellent addition to high-fidelity audio systems. It is housed in a compact brushed-aluminum chassis and is available in silver or black finishes. The device has received the VGP Silver Award in Japan for audio equipment excellence.
