About the CG-10M-X

The CG-10M-X is a master clock generator that delivers an extremely accurate 10MHz clock signal to digital-to-analog converters (DACs), network audio players, and CD players, enabling them to perform at their best. At its core is a TEAC Reference OCXO (Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator), which uses a thermostatic chamber to maintain high oscillation stability and minimize temperature-induced frequency fluctuations. The device features four gold-plated BNC output connectors, allowing simultaneous connection to up to four compatible devices. Each output circuit is independently isolated to prevent cross-interference, and a refined buffer amplifier ensures signal integrity even when shared across multiple devices. The front panel includes an analog oven status gauge for real-time monitoring of oscillator stability. The chassis is constructed with a semi-floating top panel, stressless foot isolation, and a robust full-metal design for reduced vibration and electromagnetic interference. The CG-10M-X is available in black or silver to match TEAC's Reference 500 Series components.
