About the Prism Bi-Wire

The Tara Labs Prism Biwire is a bi-wire capable speaker cable designed for entry-level audiophile systems and long runs where bi-wiring is required and cost is a factor. It features a single pair of spades at the amplifier end and two pairs at the speaker end, allowing connection to bi-wirable speakers or doubling up for non-biwire speakers. The cable uses high-quality materials including long-grained OFC conductors, polyethylene dielectric, and an anti-static polymer outer jacket. It is hand-assembled and individually tested at the Tara Labs factory. Sonically, it delivers a smooth, spacious sound with sweet upper octaves, controlled treble transients, and a warm tonal character reminiscent of vintage tube amplifiers. While it sacrifices some low-level detail resolution compared to higher-end models, it offers excellent value and a pleasing musicality with tight, controlled bass and good stereo imaging. The cable is terminated with quality connectors and is well-constructed for durability and performance.
