The Tannoy ST-200 Prestige Super Tweeter is a single driver loudspeaker system engineered to provide extended high frequency response demanded by modern audio sources. It supplements the main Dual Concentric driver by adding a wideband super tweeter for extreme high frequencies, delivering increased immediacy, airiness, and impact for a more lifelike musical experience. The driver features a 25mm diameter titanium dome with a 24-carat gold vapor deposition and a neodymium magnet system to minimize eddy current losses and extend frequency response. It includes a 3rd order compensated high-pass crossover with adjustable frequency and level settings to tailor integration with the main speaker. The unit is housed in a solid black ash or oiled solid walnut finish enclosure with a stable Performance Platform for precise positioning and acoustic optimization. It is recommended for use with amplifiers up to 250 watts and has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
