The Tannoy Sensys DC1 bookshelf speaker was produced between 2002 and 2006 and is designed as a compact floor-standing or bookshelf speaker with a robust cabinet. It features a 3-way ported reflex enclosure with a 175mm (7") Dual Concentric multi-fibre paper pulp cone driver that integrates a 25mm (1") titanium dome tweeter, plus a separate 25mm SuperTweeter with a 25-micron titanium dome and neodymium magnet system. This combination extends the frequency response up to 51kHz, providing exceptional detail, imaging, and tonal linearity. The speaker has a sensitivity of 88dB, nominal impedance of 8 ohms, and is recommended for use with amplifiers rated between 20 and 150 watts RMS. Its dimensions are 210 x 406 x 292 mm (W x H x D) and it weighs 8.5 kg (18.7 lbs).
