About the R1TX

The TAD R1TX is an ultra high-end three-way bass-reflex floor-standing loudspeaker designed for professional and audiophile use. It features two 25 cm (10 inch) woofers with a Tri-Laminate Composite Cone (TLCC) diaphragm for fast, clear, and rich bass reproduction. The midrange and tweeter are combined in a concentric driver with a 16 cm beryllium diaphragm midrange cone and a 3.5 cm beryllium dome tweeter, employing a unique vapor deposition technique for superior strength and resonance damping. The speaker has a frequency response of 21 Hz to 100 kHz, crossover frequencies at 250 Hz and 2 kHz, and a sensitivity of 90 dB (2.83 V @ 1 m) with a nominal impedance of 4 Ω. The enclosure is a SILENT enclosure made with laminated hybrid materials and features a sturdy aluminum base to lower the center of gravity and enhance bass performance. The speaker weighs approximately 150 kg and measures 1308 mm (H) x 554 mm (W) x 698 mm (D). It includes specially designed spikes and spike holders for vibration damping and stability. The R1TX is recognized for its precise sound reproduction, controlled directivity, and natural, transparent audio quality, making it a reference model in high-definition audio and professional studio monitoring.
