About the Criterion T 100
The T+A Criterion T 100 is a high-fidelity floor-standing speaker produced by T+A in Herford, Germany from 1990 to 1994. It features a transmission line design with a 210 mm polypropylene woofer, a 170 mm special membrane line driver, a 120 mm polypropylene midrange driver, and a 25 mm fabric tweeter. The speaker has a nominal power handling of 100 Watts and a music power rating of 150 Watts, with an efficiency of 90 dB at 1 meter requiring 1.5 Watts. Its frequency response ranges from 25 Hz to 30 kHz, and it has a 4 Ohm impedance. The crossover frequencies are set at 300 Hz and 3000 Hz with slopes of 12 and 18 dB respectively. The cabinet is available in various wood finishes including natural oak, bog oak, black/white ash, walnut, and mahogany, with special sanding lacquer finishes in white or black. Dimensions are 1080 mm high, 240 mm wide, and 240 mm deep, weighing 22 kg per speaker. Special features include an additional line driver inside the cabinet and optional pedestal stands with silencers for vibration damping. The T 100 is part of the Criterion series which includes several other models.
