The Synthesis A40 Virtus Integrated Stereo Tube Amplifier combines advanced tube technology with modern digital capabilities to deliver rich, warm, and precise audio performance. It provides a minimum of 40 watts per channel using a pair of KT66 tubes in Ultra-Linear push-pull operation, ensuring a powerful yet delicate sound stage. The amplifier includes a newly designed custom output transformer made from Hi-Grade Iron-Silicon, which enhances frequency reproduction and sound width, faithfully reproducing original recordings. It features multiple inputs including 4 line inputs, USB, and S/PDIF digital input, supported by dual mono Wolfson WM8740 DACs with 192kHz oversampling. The unit has DC stabilized tube heaters (except for KT66) to minimize hum noise, manual bias adjustment for each power tube, and a remote-controlled motorized volume control that preserves sonic quality.
