About the Segue ISO MD
The Symposium Acoustics Seque ISO MD platform is expressly designed to isolate low frequency vertical wave vibration using a unique system of five concentric stainless steel precision compression springs internally damped with aircell foam. This design is more linear and effective than rubber, sorbothane, polymers, magnetic suspension, or air bladder systems, avoiding bass bloating, transient blurring, or loss of dynamics. It reduces or eliminates bass feedback and floor-borne shock and vibration, providing a quieter, blacker background, greater musical clarity, improved timbral definition especially in bass and upper midrange, greater perceived dynamic range, and improved soundstage and imaging. It is recommended for analog turntables without suspensions but benefits all components including CD/SACD players, digital servers, preamplifiers, and amplifiers. The MD (Medium Duty) version supports up to approximately 75 pounds. The platform is 2.25 inches tall unloaded and 1.75 inches when fully loaded, with a standard 19x14 inch size weighing about 8 pounds. It features a movable 5th footer for precise leveling and is designed to work best with hard feet for mechanical connection. The platform is currently back ordered and unavailable but is highly regarded for its effective low-frequency isolation and resonance damping.
