About the Erleuchtung Mk3 HD
The Symphonic Line Erleuchtung Reference Mk3 HD is a high-end tube preamplifier designed for audiophiles seeking outstanding precision and tonal neutrality. It features a separate Turbo Reference power supply housed in a second chassis, equipped with valve rectification and two super Mumetal shielded 350 VA transformers, along with special capacitors in a massive aluminum housing. The preamplifier includes a phono stage with MM tube and MC with high-performance studio-quality transformers, one balanced input and balanced outputs with transformers, and a massive metal remote control for volume. The chassis has a 10 mm thick engraved front panel and is available in chrome or black/silver finish. The design emphasizes minimal feedback, an extended frequency range from 2 Hz to 120 kHz, and no overall feedback to preserve musicality. Internal wiring uses Teflon cables and silver soldering, with ceramic tube sockets and high-quality MKP film capacitors. The unit undergoes a unique resonance pattern tuning by the designer to eliminate unwanted vibrations and enhance natural sound reproduction. Dimensions are approximately 450 mm width, 120 mm height, and 365 mm depth, with a separate power supply measuring 450 x 100 x 300 mm. The preamplifier supports multiple line inputs, tape loops, and offers options for MC stage with mumetal transformer and impedance matching. It is handmade in Germany and priced around 19,000 Euros.
