The Sutherland Engineering 20/20 is a high-performance phono preamplifier that features a dual-mono design, where each channel is on its own circuit board and has its own shielded compartment. This design contributes to its low noise floor and precise resolution. It supports both Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges with user-selectable gain options ranging from 40 to 64 dB. The preamplifier includes multiple cartridge loading options and uses a linear power supply (LPS) for optimal performance. Its dimensions are 17 inches wide, 2.25 inches high, and 12 inches deep, with a total weight of approximately 11 lbs (5 kg) for the main unit and power supplies combined.
