About the Grange

The Supratek Grange is a high-end, hand-built valve preamplifier from Australian manufacturer Supratek. It combines a refined moving-coil phono stage with a tube line stage and a separate tube-regulated power supply. Two principal versions were offered: the Signature Grange, using 1940s NOS 6J5 tubes in the line stage, and the DHT Grange, using directly heated 300B tubes driven by 6SN7 valves. Both versions were also available in a Dual configuration with two independent output stages and adjustable gain. The phono stage uses an LCR topology with custom Lundahl inductors and NOS tubes, and is designed for low-output moving-coil cartridges. Supratek describes the Grange as a strictly limited-release flagship preamplifier for experienced tube enthusiasts. the manufacturer’s current portfolio information describes it as a limited-release product rather than explicitly stating that it is discontinued.
