The Supex SDT-180 is a premium MC step-up transformer that offers ultimate audio performance and user flexibility. It supports two cartridge inputs with selectable input impedances (2~9 ohms or 10~50 ohms) and multiple output impedance options (20k, 50k, and 100k ohms) to match various phono preamplifiers. It also features a bypass switch for use with high-impedance cartridges, effectively allowing it to be removed from the signal path. The transformer provides a wide frequency response from 15 Hz to 75,000 Hz with minimal deviation, and gain options ranging approximately from 23.4 dB to 29.3 dB depending on impedance settings.
