The Sunfire True Subwoofer MKVIII is a powerful, compact subwoofer featuring a 12-inch driver with an extra-large magnet and long throw mechanical design for high efficiency and acoustic output. It includes a 2,700 watts RMS amplifier capable of delivering deep bass down to 16 Hz with a frequency response of 16 Hz to 100 Hz. The subwoofer has an adjustable high cut filter from 30 Hz to 100 Hz, a soft clipping circuit to prevent speaker damage, and gold-plated inputs and outputs. It supports line-level, speaker-level, and balanced XLR inputs, with input sensitivities optimized for full output. The enclosure measures 13" x 13" x 13" and weighs 53 lbs, finished in a high gloss dark rosewood or black lacquer. The subwoofer delivers over 116 dB peak SPL and maintains very low distortion (less than 0.1% THD between 18 and 80 Hz). It features internal system gain controls and is designed for both home theater and music playback with exceptional bass accuracy and power handling.
