The Sunfire HRS-12 is a compact, high-performance powered subwoofer with a 12-inch long-excursion woofer featuring a High Back-emf design and a massive magnet structure. It incorporates a 1,000 watt RMS Tracking Downconverter amplifier with Frequency Filtration Design (FFD) for ultra-high output and low distortion. The subwoofer offers a frequency response of 18Hz to 100Hz and a sensitivity of 108 dB SPL @ 1W/1m. It has automatic signal-sensing turn-on and standby mode, and comes in a high-gloss black piano-like finish. Rear panel features include speaker and line level inputs, high-pass line level output, and infinitely variable crossover, phase, and level controls. The enclosure is a sealed acoustic suspension design measuring 13.5 inches cubed and weighing 38 lbs. The HRS-12 delivers output comparable to many 15-inch subwoofers but in a much smaller cabinet, making it ideal for dedicated home theaters and larger rooms. It also features a soft clipping circuit to prevent speaker damage and has a removable IEC power cord. The subwoofer is known for its deep, accurate bass and high efficiency due to its advanced driver and amplifier technology.
