The Sunfire CRS-3 Cinema Ribbon Trio is an on-wall loudspeaker from Sunfire's XT-Series, voiced primarily for left and right channel use in high-performance home theater systems. It uses three 4.5-inch High Back-emf woofers, a design derived from Sunfire's subwoofer technology to deliver strong bass output from a compact cabinet, and a 6-inch high-efficiency ribbon tweeter with about 10 feet of Kapton material for highly detailed, lifelike imaging. The CRS-3 is rated for approximately 25-440 watts of power handling, with 90 dB sensitivity and 6-ohm nominal impedance, and includes a boundary compensation switch to optimize tonal balance when placed close to room boundaries. The cabinet is finished in hand-rubbed ebonized rosewood lacquer, designed to visually complement flat-panel displays while providing high output and clarity suitable for demanding home cinema installations.
