The Sunfire CRM-2BIP is a Cinema Ribbon bi-pole surround loudspeaker designed primarily for on-wall installation in surround and back-surround roles. It is a 2-way sealed design using two waveguide-loaded neodymium ribbon tweeters mounted on the angled side panels in a bi-pole configuration and a single forward-firing 4.5-inch High Back-emf mid-bass driver on the center panel, creating a wide, diffuse soundfield ideal for modern multichannel movie and music soundtracks. The speaker is specified for 25-400 watts of amplifier power, 90 dB sensitivity (2.83 V/1 m), 6 ohms nominal impedance, 80 Hz-40 kHz frequency response, and 117 dB maximum output. The cabinet is ultra-slim at 8.25" (H) x 12.18" (W) x 3.625" (D) and uses a high-gloss black finish with a black cloth grille, gold-plated spring binding posts, and supplied wall-mount hardware. A front-panel ribbon level (tweeter) control allows adjustment for room acoustics and system voicing, and the design incorporates Sunfire's High Back-EMF woofer and Intelligent Tweeter Shaping technologies for enhanced dynamics and clarity. The CRM-2BIP is voiced to timbre-match other Cinema Ribbon models, enabling seamless integration in complete Sunfire CRM surround systems.
