About the Virtuoso Talisman DTI

The Sumiko Virtuoso Talisman DTi is a high-output moving coil phono cartridge known for exceptionally detailed and natural sound, particularly in the upper octaves. It uses a Van den Hul 1 stylus and a diamond plasma-deposited, damped titanium cantilever, and was regarded in period reviews as a superbly refined, smooth-sounding design with excellent imaging and soundstage. Technical specifications include an output voltage of 1.8 mV, 15 Hz–32 kHz frequency response, recommended tracking force of 1.8–2.2 g, mass of about 7.5 g, channel separation better than 35 dB, and channel balance within 0.5 dB. It is designed to be used into a standard 47 kΩ MM phono input (load impedance 47 kΩ, output impedance 105 Ω). The Virtuoso Talisman DTi is a vintage model and is no longer manufactured.
